Eitesal hosted the Global Public Policy Conference (GPPC 2007) held  on 4 - 6 November 2007 – under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Tarek Kamel, Egyptian Minister of Communication and Information Technology.

GPPC is one of two flagship events of World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) – a consortium of 70 information technology (IT) industry associations from economies around the world.
 
  GPPC 2007 was under the theme of “ Digital Age… Converging of Policies and ICT Solutions”  

GPPC 2007 was intended to provide a platform for policy planners and corporate decision makers from around the globe to examine and discuss key strategic public policy issues affecting the ICT industry and ICT utilization.
 This International Conference was a gathering of senior level government officials, ICT industry leaders, policy makers/strategists, academicians, investment analysis and researchers to discuss key strategic public policy issues, challenges and opportunities facing governments and industries.

GPPC 2007 addressed significant issues such as 
International ICT Trade, Internet Governance, E-Environment, ICT For Development, E-Government, Information Security and Privacy, Innovation, Future Of ICT Industry.
